I figured it was about time to share this glorious dressing with you all. I make this all the time and don’t even need the recipe anymore. Yep, I have it memorized…. that’s how much I make this.

It’s no secret that we love Mexican food at our house. Tacos, burritos, nachos, rice bowls, taquitos. You name and we like it 🙂

It’s only a few ingredients that you put into your blender. That’s it. Seriously, so easy. It calls for salsa verde which is a green salsa that has cilantro and tomatillos in it. I found this roasted salsa verde at Target and I am in love with it! So good. Herdez brand also makes it too. It’s a bit more spicy than the other brands.

Be sure and make this several hours before you need it. It needs to be cold and it gives the flavors time to come together, plus it thickens up a bit while in the fridge.

I always make this dressing when I serve these {baked} honey lime chicken taquitos for dinner. Or serve it in rice bowls like these turkey taco burrito bowls or these Mexican haystack rice bowls. I also like to make the dressing just as a topping for tacos or a dip for nachos. It also goes great with a salad. I mean honestly, you could use a spoon and be happy 🙂

    Can this sauce be frozen?

I prefer to not freeze anything with dairy in it because it can separate once you reheat. But you can always experiment and see what you think.
