Family Approved Menu Plan

HAPPY SATURDAY! Hope you all have a fun weekend or at least a relaxing weekend planned. Those are my very favorite weekends! You know the ones where you have no events, parties, to do lists, kids birthday party invites, chores, grass to mow, 80 loads of laundry to do (so not speaking from experience, haha), errands to run….. yea, those ones. Which happens to be what every weekend looks like for us ๐Ÿ™‚

We have a church practice for a program that the kids put on in the morning and then we’re taking the kids to the parental death and money trap (aka Toys R Us). They are having a Lego event where you can go and build your own BB8 figure for free. I believe it is at every store so if you have little kids then head there today!

Then there is a local Halloween parade in the evening. We have lived here 6 years now and never gone to it. So this year we are finally going to it. I also have to go grocery shopping. Which I actually happen to LOVE so I am pretty excited about that.

With so many variations of chili the classic version often gets overlooked. Not this one! This is the best classic chili. It's thick, rich, loaded with tomato flavor, lots of beef, and plenty of beans. It's sweet, warm, spicy (in flavor not heat), and so perfect with some sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.

THE BEST CLASSIC CHILI

With so many version of chili out there it’s nice to come back to a classic chili recipe. This is a good one too! Classic chili full of beef and beans. Top with some sour cream, cheese, and Fritos corn chips for a bowl of pure comfort food.ย
