Tomato Tortellini Soup

Tomato Tortellini Soup is a 30 minute meal that is so creamy, warm, and delicious. An easy stove top soup that has so much flavor and uses simple ingredients. One of my favorite comfort foods is grilled cheese and tomato soup. Not just any tomato soup. It has to be the Campbell's canned tomato soup. That stuff is so good. I've tried so many tomato soup recipes that start with tomato and are completely homemade, but they just don't have that rich, sweet, tomato flavor that you get from the canned stuff. This soup is so easy because the base of it is canned tomato … [Read more...]

7 Can Chicken Taco Soup

Dinner does not get any easier than this 7 can chicken taco soup! Dump 7 cans into a pot plus some seasonings and that's it! Serve with tortilla chips, cheese, and sour cream. You won't believe how yummy & easy it is. I am sure you have seen some sort of this '7 or 8 can soup' floating around the internet & pinterest. I am normally totally against canned meat of any kind (well, except tuna) but I promise you that it works in this … [Read more...]

Copycat P.F. Changs Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Make delicious P.F. Chang's famous chicken lettuce wraps right at home! They taste exactly like the restaurant & are so easy to recreate at home.  Hopefully you have had a chance to eat at P.F. Chang's. We currently don't even live close to one. The only thing close where we are, are the generic chain restaurants. If we want decent restaurants we have to go closer to D.C or Baltimore.  My husband & I married during college and I still remember we would go out to eat maybe twice a week. Of course, this was all pre-kids when we actually had time & money … [Read more...]

Creamy Broccoli Wild Rice Soup

This creamy broccoli wild rice soup comes together in a short amount of time thanks to a packaged box of wild rice, creamed broccoli soup, and frozen broccoli. So creamy, flavorful, and full of veggies.  Now that October is almost over we are finally getting some Fall type weather. I won't hold my breath though because Fall in Maryland is more like a mild summer. Which makes me really sad because Fall is by far my favorite season.  I love making soups anytime but they are one of our favorite meals especially during these cooler months. This creamy broccoli wild … [Read more...]

Easy Skillet Cashew Chicken

This skillet cashew chicken is really simple, and it's a quick 30-minute meal! Mine took a bit longer than 30 minutes because while making it, my daughter decided it would be a good idea to try and stir the sauce mixture, and it spilled everywhere. My kitchen still smells like soy sauce & sesame oil! So, I had to make another batch of sauce. That girl loves to be in the kitchen helping me, but she just makes a mess of everything. If it wasn't for her cute blond hair and pigtails I might just be a little upset about it ;)  I would suggest putting your rice in … [Read more...]
