Ingredients
Snicker Cheesecake Cream Pie
1(6 oz)'ready crust' graham cracker crust(store-bought)
1cupheavy whipping cream
8ozcream cheesesoftened
1/3cupgranulated sugar
½teaspoonvanilla extract
1½cupschopped Snickers
Garnishes
1/2cupheavy whipping cream
2tablespoonspowdered sugar
additional chopped Snickers
Instructions
In medium mixing bowl beat cream cheese until fluffy {to avoid lumps make sure cream cheese is really soft or place in microwave for 20 seconds}.
Add in vanilla extract and granulated sugar. Beat until combined.
In separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. This will take several minutes.
Add the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture and gently mix together. Fold in the chopped Snickers and combine.
Spread into the pie crust and smooth the top. Refrigerate for 8 hours, or overnight, before serving. Can be made up to 2-3 days in advance and kept in fridge until ready.
Optional garnishes: Beat 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream + powdered sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Pipe or spread onto pie and garnish with additional chopped Snickers.
Notes
Graham Cracker Crust : I have always used a store-bought graham cracker crust and it's delicious. No need to spend the time to make one, unless you want to of course. The one from the store says 6 oz on the outside. It's not the crust that says '2 extra servings'. Don't get that one. If you are making your own then make sure the recipe is for a standard 9-inch pie.
