ONE POT HOMEMADE HAMBURGER HELPER

Make your own Homemade Hamburger Helper at home in just one pot!

This is a richly seasoned ground beef base and elbow noodles that cook in beef broth. Add in some cheese, cream, and sour cream at the end and you have delicious homemade hamburger helper.

– ground beef – onion – salt – onion powder – garlic powder – black pepper – tomato paste – Worcestershire sauce – beef broth – elbow noodles – cheddar cheese – heavy whipping cream – sour cream

Ingredients

In a skillet pan, with a lid, cook the ground beef, onion, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper over medium-high heat.

Add the tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce into the ground beef and stir until it's combined well.

Add the beef broth and uncooked elbow pasta. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.

Once boiling, cover the pan with the lid, and reduce heat to medium-low.

Add the shredded cheese, cream, and sour cream. Stir until combined.

Serve immediately.

CAN I MAKE THIS SPICY? The recipe as written is not spicy at all. It's very flavorful but not spicy. If you want it spicier then try adding some cayenne red pepper in with the seasonings. You could also add some hot sauce in with the beef broth and pasta.

This is so much better than the boxed stuff.
