English Muffin Breakfast Pizzas

One of my family’s favorite dinners is breakfast! Pancakes, waffles, french toast, or our favorite, breakfast burritos.

These breakfast pizzas are so much fun, especially for the kids, because they can make their own. I make all the toppings; shredded hash browns, shredded cheese, scrambled eggs, crumbled sausage, bacon, sour cream, salsa, green onions. Basically anything you want πŸ™‚ I put it all in bowls on the counter, buffet style, and let everyone make their own.

The best part about these is the garlic butter. It adds such a nice flavor and it’s just melted butter and garlic salt.

Another tip is to add some sour cream to the eggs. Have you tried that before? I have always mixed in some milk with the eggs, plus salt and pepper. Ever since trying out sour cream I can’t make them any other way. Just crack your eggs in a bowl, add salt and a little pepper, and then 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream. Whisk together. They turn out so fluffy and creamy.

  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 6 English Muffins, split
  • scrambled eggs
  • shredded or diced hash browns, cooked
  • bacon
  • sausage
  • shredded cheese
  • green onions, sour cream, salsa {optional}


  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place English Muffins on a cookie sheet.
  • Combine melted butter and garlic salt. Brush on top of each English Muffin half.
  • Top with whatever toppings you want. Starting with the scrambled egg.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and English Muffins are toasted.


This recipe can be scaled down very easily. Just adjust the amount of "pizza toppings" you prepare, use however many English Muffins you need, and melt a smaller amount of butter.

Try these out for ‘breakfast for dinner’ or as a fun weekend breakfast when there is more time in the morning. We always have them for dinner because trying to make these in the morning would be nearly impossible πŸ˜‰
