Family menu plan that your entire family will love! Easy, family approved, simple ingredients, and delicious food to enjoy together.

I had a friend recently tell me that she didn’t know that I even shared dinner recipes! Then I realized that after 2 years of blogging, and hundreds of recipes, it probably is fairly difficult to find recipes to make. Plus, all these recipes and dinner ideas get lost in the archives. What better way to bring them back to life and showcase easy family approved dinners than to make a weekly menu plan 🙂

I am so excited to start this and I really do hope that it will be of value to you. The #1 concern that I always hear from people is “I don’t know what to make for dinner.” I totally know what you mean too. It’s not easy finding good recipes that the entire family will enjoy. So hopefully I can make that part of your life a little easier.

I am going to be posting a weekly menu plan every Saturday. I tend to do my grocery planning & shopping on Saturdays or Mondays so I figure the weekend is a good time to give you lovely readers some menu plan inspiration. If you want to find all the recipes from Together as Family go to my pinterest board to pin them directly onto yours!

One tip that I always tell people is to create a pinterest board called ‘menu plan’ or ‘to make’….something like that. That way, when you are browsing pinterest or run into a great recipe on a blog, you can just pin it onto that board. When you go to menu plan or try to decide what to make for dinner, all those recipes will be in one spot for you. I love doing it this way and I still do! My pinterest board that I use for dinner ideas and menu planning is called ‘meal plan’ and then I also have one called ‘things to make’.

{be sure and pin this to your ‘menu plan’ board to have easy & quick access to it in the future}

Tender, flavorful chunks of chicken in an easy homemade sauce and cashews. This easy, 30 minute skillet cashew chicken will be a hit at the dinner table. Serve over rice and garnish with green onions.

Easy skillet cashew chicken is a 30-minute meal that is sweet & perfectly seasoned. Cooks in one skillet pan on the stove top. Serve with rice and garnish with green onions.

Slow cooker honey teriyaki chicken is a family favorite dinner. Only a few ingredients for a homemade honey teriyaki sauce and some chicken is all you need! The chicken is so tender thanks to the long cook time in the slow cooker. Serve over cooked rice and drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce.

Mix up an easy honey teriyaki sauce and add that to a crock pot of chicken. When it’s dinner time, shred the chicken with 2 forks and serve over rice and drizzle with some extra sauce. This is one of my kids’ favorite dinners because it’s sweet, flavorful, tender meat, and they love to sprinkle the sesame seeds over the top!

These philly cheesesteak sloppy joes are a fun twist to traditional sloppy joes. A perfectly seasoned ground beef mixture with beef broth, steak sauce, and steak seasoning. Toasted buns, melted provolone cheese, and the philly cheesesteak ground beef make these sloppy joes a family favorite dinner.

While these may not be true ‘philly cheesesteaks’ I can promise you that they are a delicious, 30 minute meal that your family will love! Toast the hamburger buns and melt the cheese for the ultimate sloppy joe.

This easy chicken burrito skillet cooks in one pan on the stove top. Your favorite burrito ingredients are cooked up in one skillet pan. Tender chunked chicken, cheese, rice, beans, and seasonings simmer and cook to perfection in 30 minutes!

Loaded with tex-mex flavors and baked in a single skillet pan on the stove. I love to serve this with chopped tomato, green onion, sour cream, and avocado chunks. You can also serve with tortilla chips (kids would love to scoop this up with chips) and/or shredded lettuce.

Baked Honey Lime Chicken Taquitos

My family’s favorite dinner! Adults and kids love these baked taquitos. They’re made healthier by baking and they are just as crispy as if they were fried. Mix up an easy salsa verde dipping sauce for a delicious & healthier dinner.

The best monster cookies are loaded with peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips, and m&m's! They are thick, chewy, and a soft-baked cookie, with a surprise ingredient, that are addictive and delicious.

I am embarrassed to admit how many times I have made these. We love them, you readers love them & they are always getting rave reviews from everyone who makes them. Thick, soft, chewy, and loaded with all the good stuff in life; peanut butter, oats, and chocolate!

Now that school is out these monster cookies are the perfect way to spend an afternoon baking in the kitchen. My kids love to pour in all the mix-ins.

I hope you love this new menu plan feature on Saturdays. Let me know what you think. Please? ♥ I feel like this week had a lot of chicken in it. But, I suppose that is to be expected because it’s the cheapest protein option, it’s healthy, and my kids will eat it. So hopefully your kids, or your family, is the same way. Enjoy friends!
