Learn how to make this dump & bake frozen Ravioli Bake with only 4 ingredients! Everything cooks in one baking dish, including the rozen ravioli, making it the perfect weeknight dinner recipe. Cheese ravioli pasta, jarred spaghetti sauce, and two kinds of cheese is all you need.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
  • 24 oz frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400° F. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Spread 1/2 cup of the pasta sauce into the bottom of the pan.

  • Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the pasta sauce. Top with half of the remaining pasta sauce, then sprinkle with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.

  • Repeat these layers one more time, ending with the mozzarella cheese.

  • Cover the pan with foil.

  • Bake for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese begins to brown.

  • Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over top and serve hot.

Notes

Make It Ahead of Time : Prepare the casserole as directed, cover with foil, and let it refrigerate during the day or overnight. Because you are essentially thawing the frozen ravioli while it sits in the fridge, decrease the bake time to 20-25 minutes. 
Variations : Add whatever dried seasonings you want! I like to sprinkle on some Italian seasoning on top of the pasta sauce before I add the cheese layer. You can also use red pepper flakes for some spice, dried basil, dried parsley, etc. For the cheese you can use sliced cheese for an even cheesier casserole. You will need about 16 slices of mozzarella cheese if doing this. Use whatever variety/flavor of pasta sauce and ravioli you want. I prefer the Rao's roasted garlic pasta sauce but anything will work. Use a sauce with mini meatballs in it, or sausage, or try using a four cheese pasta sauce or garden vegetable sauce. 
Single Layer Ravioli : The most important thing is to make sure the ravioli are in a single layer in the pan. If some are stuck together in the bag, break them apart before placing them into the baking pan. 
Ravioli : If using fresh ravioli decrease the cook time to 20-25 minutes. You can use round or square ravioli.
