Unwrap the country style ribs from the package and lay them onto a cutting board or plate.
Drizzle oil over the pork ribs. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground mustard, and cayenne red pepper (if using).
Using your clean hands rub the spice mix all over the ribs, both sides, making sure to coat them well.
Add the beef broth into the Instant Pot insert. Place the ribs inside. * It's ok if they're touching or stacked on each other. Like in the picture.
Set the valve to the 'sealing' position. Pressure cook on HIGH for 45 minutes. Allow for a 15 minute natural pressure release once done. * A natural pressure release means that you are letting the pressure release naturally, rather than moving the valve from the 'sealed' position to the 'venting' position.
Using tongs, move the ribs to a baking sheet lined with foil. Baste with BBQ sauce.
Broil for 8-10 minutes or until the tips begin to brown. Serve with additional BBQ sauce. * Watch the ribs closely while broiling. They can burn quickly.
