  • Cupid's Mix M&M's
  • Golden Oreos
  • Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles
  • Strawberry Wafer Cookies
  • Twizzler Bites
  • Cherry Lifesavers
  • Pink Lofthouse Cookies (store-bought)

  • Heart-Shaped Pink Marshmallows (party toothpicks for them if wanted)

Instructions

  • Gather all your sweets & treats, your white serving platter, and 3 smaller serving bowls (red, white, or heart shaped).
You can use any size serving board or platter that you want, just make sure that you use one that is big enough (or small enough) to fit all the different treats.
  • Grab one smaller bowl and fill it with m&m's. Place it in the center of the platter.
Next, add the Golden Oreo cookies creating a flow pattern down and around the m&m bowl.

  • Place the twirler bites and cherry lifesavers (unwrapped) into the remaining smaller bowls. Place one on each side of the cookies.
Fill in the remaining white space with the other treats!
    * For the marshmallows if you want to copy what is in the picture then take 3-4 pink or heart shaped marshmallows and thread them onto party toothpicks. Place them on the board wherever you want. You can also just omit the toothpicks and place a pile of marshmallows on the board.

    * Be creative with your dessert board and use anything you want. I love browsing the Valentine's Day aisles at the store and using all those fun chocolates and candies they have. Anything works for this desert baord!

Tips -
My favorite part about dessert boards! Use anything, literally, anything you want. I love slowly cruising the Valentine's candy aisle at Target or Walmart and just picking out all the pink and red stuff. Here are some other ideas that would work great on this dessert board.
And remember it does not even have to be found in the Valentine's candy aisle. There are plenty of red and pink options elsewhere.
  • Hershey's Hugs & Kisses - They have these wrapped in pink and red foil wrappers for the Holiday.
  • Dove Heart Chocolate - These are the best because they are shaped like a heart and wrapped in pretty red or pink foil.
  • Hershey's Hearts
  • Pink Starbursts - Buy a bag of the 'All Pink Starburst' and add them to the board.
  • Lindt Lindor Truffles - I know these are already on the list of ingredients for the board, but I want to add that there are so many festive options to use. White chocolate strawberries & cream come in a pretty light pink wrapper, the white chocolate ones, or I have even seen some strawberry dark chocolate truffles that comes in a darker pink wrapper. All would be perfect for this dessert charcuterie board. I prefer using some of all of them that way you get all the colors.
  • Heart Shaped Cookies - Trader Joe's sells some delicious chocolate covered heart cookies (with sprinkles) and those are a great option. Look at the bakery at the grocery store and use any of the heart shaped or Valentines themed treats there.
  • Gummies - You can always find heart shaped gummies this time of year.
  • Sweethearts Conversation Hearts
  • Cinnamon Jelly Hearts
  • Pink Reese's Hearts
  • Circus Animal Cookies - The pink and white covered animal crackers with sprinkles.
  • Homemade Goodies - If you're wanting to avoid the store-bought treats then try making some Sheet Pan Sugar Cookie Bars (pink icing with Valentine's sprinkles). Or make your favorite Rice Krispie treat recipe and drizzle some pink candy melts over top and some sprinkles. You can also use a heart shaped cookie cutter to create hearts from a pan of brownies, cookie bars, or rice krispy treats.
  • Small Bowls/Containers For Smaller Candies : I love buying some heart shaped plastic bowls (you will find them in the Valentine's Day aisles at most stores) to put the smaller candies inside; like the m&m's, lifesavers, and Twizzler bites.
  • Create Dimension : When making dessert boards it's important, and more pleasing to the eye, to create height, shapes, and other dimension on the board. Like making a wave patter with the Oreo cookies, or putting the smaller candies inside a serving bowl, and try to get different sizes and an assortment of goodies for your board.
  • Make It Heart Shaped : Use the treats and candies to create a heart shape with them on the serving board or platter.
