Slow Cooker Creamed Corn is only 5 simple ingredients. So creamy, easy to make, and way better than the canned stuff. Creamed corn is the perfect side dish for any meal.
Spray the insert of the slow cooker with cooking spray.
Add all ingredients into the slow cooker and stir together. Cover with lid and cook on LOW heat for 4-5 hours. * Stir the corn about 2-3 times during the cook time to prevent it from burning to the sides of the slow cooker.
Serve with a slotted spoon! You can also leave the corn on the WARM setting for 1-2 hours before serving.
Notes
Sugar : If you like your creamed corn a bit sweeter than add 2 tablespoons of sugar. Corn : I use one bag yellow corn and one bag of yellow & white corn. I like the combination. Feel free to use all yellow corn, all white corn, or a mix like I do. I also use 2 bags (16 ounces each) of frozen corn which equals 32 ounces. Be sure you are not buying the 1-minute microwaveable frozen corn. You just want the regular frozen corn. Recipe : I originally posted this recipe back in 2015 when I first started this food blog. Since then, I have remade and updated the recipe to reflect the addition of 1/3 cup whole milk. This makes the corn creamier and helps it soften and cook better in the slow cooker.
