BBQ TURKEY SLOPPY JOES

Turkey Sloppy Joes make for an easy dinner idea for busy weeknights that's ready in 20 minutes. Tangy & sweet with ground turkey, onion, dried seasonings, tomato sauce, and brown sugar bbq sauce. Kids of all ages (and adults too!) will love these sweet and smokey sloppy joes.

Ingredients

Olive oil Ground turkey Onion finely chopped Green pepper finely chopped Kosher salt Tomato sauce Brown sugar BBQ sauce Brown sugar Onion powder Garlic powder Chili powder Worcestershire sauce

In a large skillet pan, over medium-high heat, add the olive oil, ground turkey, onion, green pepper, and salt. Cook and crumble ground turkey until cooked through and no longer pink. Drain.

Stir in tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, and seasonings. Reduce heat to medium and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

Serve with hamburger buns or rolls of choice. You can also serve with a slice of cheese and/or toast the hamburger buns as well.
