½teaspoonpaprika
½teaspoononion powder
½teaspoongarlic powder
¼teaspoonsalt
Big Mac Hot Dogs
8bun length beef hot dogs
8hot dog buns(see notes)
2tablespoonsbuttermelted
2tablespoonssesame seeds
16slices American cheese
2cupsshredded lettuce
dill pickle slices
finely diced white onion
Instructions
Add all the Big Mac sauce ingredients into a small bowl and whisk together to combine thoroughly. Set aside for later. * I prefer the sauce after it has had time to chill and for the flavors to combine together. I recommend making it several hours before serving so it has time to chill in the fridge.
1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 teaspoon yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar OR white distilled vinegar, ½ teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon salt
Cook the hot dogs using your favorite method. I love using a grill pan on the stove top, but you can also use a skillet pan or outdoor grill.

While the hot dogs are cooking toast the buns. Place the buns onto a baking sheet and broil in the oven just until warmed. Remove the buns and while they're still warm, brush each one with melted butter and sprinkle on some sesame seeds.
8 hot dog buns, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Place two slices of American cheese inside each hot dog bun and return the buns to the broiler for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
16 slices American cheese
Add 1/4 cup shredded lettuce on top of the cheese. Place a grilled hot dog on top of the lettuce. Tuck 3-4 dill pickle slices down the side of the hot dog. Sprinkle white onion over top. Drizzle each one with Big Mac special sauce.
Big Mac Sauce : This can be prepared up to 2-3 days ahead of time and refrigerated (covered) until ready to use. Hot Dog Buns : I used bakery buns in the photos, which you can find those in the bakery section of the grocery store. They're usually not cut, and instead of slicing them horizontally in the middle, I like to slice them down the middle (from the top, as seen in the pictures) to better hold all the stuff inside. Sauce Tip : The easiest and best way to drizzle the sauce on is to use a condiment squeeze bottle. I have linked to the one I use above in the recipe card. You will also want to use a small funnel to easily get the sauce inside the squeeze bottle.
