Strawberry Crumble is a fabulous strawberry dessert recipe that is quick & easy to make with fresh strawberries, strawberry pie filling, and a sweet and buttery oat crumble topping that starts with an oatmeal cookie mix. That strawberry sauce - that creates itself while baking, is just incredible and insanely delicious served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
1bag (17.5 oz)oatmeal cookie mix(dry mix, do not prepare)
1cupwhole old-fashioned oats
1/2cup (1 stick)salted butterroom temperature
vanilla ice cream(for serving)
Instructions
Heat the oven to 375℉. Prepare a 9x13 baking dish and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the strawberry pie filling, chopped strawberries, and vanilla extract. Mix gently until well combined. Pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared pan and spread it into an even layer.
2 cans (21 oz each) strawberry pie filling, 3½ cups chopped fresh strawberries, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, add the dry oatmeal cookie mix and whole oats. Stir together to combine. Add the softened butter and use an electric hand mixer to beat it, on medium-high speed, until crumbly and combined. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over top the strawberry mixture inside the pan.
1 bag (17.5 oz) oatmeal cookie mix, 1 cup whole old-fashioned oats, 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
Bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown on top and the fruit is bubbling up around the edges.
Let the strawberry crumble sit and rest for a few minutes before serving the warm crumble topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
