Ingredients

  • 1 bar (8 oz) full-fat cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup caramel sauce divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 bag (8 oz) chocolate toffee bits divided

Instructions

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, or a mixing bowl using an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, 1/2 cup of the caramel sauce, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
1 bar (8 oz) full-fat cream cheese, 1 cup packed light brown sugar, 1 cup caramel sauce, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Add in half of the bag of toffee bits and blend on low speed just until mixed in.
1 bag (8 oz) chocolate toffee bits
  • Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a 9-inch pie plate and spread it out into an even layer.
  • Top with the remaining toffee bits and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over top.
  • Serve with your favorite sliced apples (Granny Smith, Gala, Honey Crisp, Pink Lady, Golden Delicious are all great options). Enjoy!
*If you want the dip chilled for serving (my preference) cover the pie plate with a lid or plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving. The dip is softer when served immediately after making it. For a firmer, chilled dip you will want to refrigerate it.

How Can I Prevent Apple Slices From Browning For Serving?

There is an easy fix for this! Simply slice the apples and immediately after slicing, place them in a bowl full of cold water + lemon juice. I don't measure out the lemon juice, and I use bottled lemon juice that I keep in the fridge, just squirt some into the bowl of cold water and you're good to go. I then take the apple slices out and place them onto some paper towel and dab them dry, before putting them onto a serving tray to use in the dip. This won't stop the browning but it will significantly slow it down.
