  • 4-5 pound boneless, spiral sliced ham (make sure it's pre-cooked)
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup water

Thicken the honey glaze (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

  • Spray the insert of the slow cooker with cooking spray. Unwrap the ham and place it flat side down into the slow cooker.
  • In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and water. Heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. About 1-2 minutes. Pour the glaze over the ham.
  • Cover with the lid and cook on LOW heat for 5-6 hours.
    * 3-4 times during the cook time, take a baster or a large spoon, and pour some of the glaze over top of the ham.
  • Take the ham out and place onto a serving plate. At the end of the cook time the slices of ham should be noticeable so take a knife and finish cutting the slices. Use the glaze from the slow cooker and pour some over the ham slices. Serve!

(Optional) Thicken the Glaze

  • Pour the liquid from the slow cooker into a sauce pan. Set the heat to medium-high. Mix together the cornstarch + water and pour into the saucepan. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until it boils. Reduce heat and let simmer until desired thickness is reached.
*As it sits off the heat it will thicken up more
** If wanted, use a fine mesh strainer to strain the liquid before pouring it into the saucepan. This would make the gravy smooth with no fat chunks or anything it it. I prefer to do it this way.

My ham was 4 pounds so it was done at about 5 hours of cook time. If your ham is 5 pounds or slightly larger, then you may need the full 6 hours.
Make sure the ham you buy is PRE-COOKED. You are basically just bringing the ham to temperature in the slow cooker and infusing it with a sweet honey glaze. No need to temp the ham. Just watch it and pull it out when it's done (again, about 5-6 hours cook time).
