This easy 2 ingredient Christmas Cookie Pizza starts with store-bought sugar cookie dough and vanilla frosting! Decorate this cookie pizza with all the festive red & green Christmas sprinkles and candies. This is always a hit with kids!
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray. * Do not use a pizza pan with the vent holes in the bottom! I have also made this in an 11-inch pizza pan with good results.
Cut the roll of sugar cookie dough into ¼-inch slices. Lay each slice on the pizza pan and press them evenly into the pizza pan. Be sure to pack each piece into each other, so there are no open areas between the cookie dough pieces.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cookie dough is golden brown. Place on a cooling rack and allow to completely cool before frosting & decorating.
Spread the vanilla frosting over top of the cooled cookie pizza and decorate!* You can decorate this with anything you want! We love using two different types of Christmas sprinkles, crushed peppermint candy canes, and Christmas mix m&m's. Get creative!
Slice into 12 slices like you would a pizza and eat! Store leftovers covered in plastic wrap or inside an airtight container, at room temperature, for up to 5 days.
Notes
Tip : Decorate this cookie pizza with anything you want! Make it a red & green Christmas theme, a mint cookie pizza using mint m&m's and mint andes chocolates, or a fruity cookie pizza and use Starburst candy canes + Christmas Nerds, you can chop up some of the Christmas Cadbury eggs for the decorations too. Anything goes so get creative!
