Ingredients

  • 1 bar (8 oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (see notes)
  • 1 cup crispy cooked & crumbled bacon
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced green onions

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Use an electric hand mixer to beat until combined well and creamy.
1 bar (8 oz) cream cheese, 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • Add in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Beat until thoroughly combined with the sour cream mixture.
1 teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Add the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, crispy crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and green onions into the mixing bowl. Use a wooden spoon or rubber spatula to gently mix everything together until well dispersed.
1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce, 1 cup diced tomatoes, 1 cup crispy cooked & crumbled bacon, ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese, ¼ cup thinly sliced green onions
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, or a lid, and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld together and the dip to chill.
  • Transfer the BLT dip to a serving dish and place it onto a serving platter. Surround the bowl of dip with a variety of dippers; tortilla chips, baguette slices, potato chips, pita chips (soft pita or crunchy chips), fresh vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers), crackers, or pretzels.

Notes

Chill Time : I would not recommend refrigerating the dip for more than 2 hours before serving it. The lettuce will soften more as it sits in the fridge longer, that's why up to 2 hours is good - it allows time for the dip to chill, the flavors to blend, and the lettuce will stay crisp-soft even during that fridge time.
Serving Tip : Reserve some, or add extra, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, and crispy chopped bacon to the top of the dip for serving.
