Crockpot Chicken and Gravy is an easy recipe that cooks in the slow cooker! Perfectly tender shredded chicken in a creamy gravy sauce and you only need a handful of ingredients like cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy packets, boneless chicken breasts and seasonings.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, water and chicken gravy packets until combined. Pour it over the chicken inside the slow cooker.
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup, 21 ounces water, 2 packets (0.87 oz each) chicken gravy mix
Cover with the lid and cook on LOW heat for 6-8 hours.
Use two forks to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Serve the chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes or cooked rice.
Notes
DO NOT prepare the gravy packets. Simply add in the dry gravy mix powder only!You can use chicken broth instead of water but I would suggest leaving out the kosher salt if using broth. My family loves this chicken and gravy served over Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes.
