10 Christmas Lofthouse Frosted Cookies 4 ounces cream cheese 1 bag (12 oz) green candy melts 1 tablespoon coconut oil Christmas sprinkles
INGREDIENTS
Place the cookies into the bowl of and mix on medium speed until the cookies are in fine crumbs.
Add in the cream cheese and mix until a smooth paste is formed.
Use a medium cookie scoop, or about 1.5 tablespoons of the dough, to scoop it out and then roll it into a ball with your clean hands.
Place the cookie truffle balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or wax paper. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Melt the chocolate according to the package directions along with the coconut oil.
Dip the truffles into the chocolate. Tap the fork on the edges to let the excess chocolate drain and drip off the truffle before placing it back onto the parchment paper baking sheet.
Immediately add sprinkles over top the truffle. Continue dipping the remaining truffles one at a time.
Allow the truffles to set and harden at room temperature for 15 minutes
