Simple Ingredients Needed (Only 3 Ingredients!)

  1. Chocolate Flavored Almond Bark – You will need 2 packages of almond bark for this recipe. You can find almond bark in the baking aisle of the grocery store. For a different look and flavor, substitute the chocolate almond bark with white almond bark.
  2. Dry Roasted Peanuts – I prefer using plain roasted peanuts but you can also use honey roasted peanuts if preferred.
  3. Christmas Sprinkles – Use your favorite holiday sprinkles. I love the look and texture of the nonpareils (the little ball shape sprinkles) but anything will work.

Changes & Variation Ideas For Slow Cooker Candy

  • Almond Bark : Use chocolate almond bark or white almond bark for the recipe.
  • Toppings : Instead of sprinkles try using toffee bits, crushed pretzel pieces, chopped peppermint Oreos, festive sprinkles, or crushed candy canes.
  • Make For Any Holiday : Make this crockpot candy for any holiday by simply using different sprinkles that coordinate with that holiday.
  • Nuts : Instead of using all roasted peanuts use your favorite nut variety instead. Or add some other nuts like macadamia nuts, unsalted peanuts, or different nuts will also work in this recipe. It’s fun to mix and match and use half of one and then half of another.

Recipe Tips For Crockpot Candy Recipe

  • Be sure to keep the crockpot on the WARM setting while you’re scooping it out into the clusters. Otherwise, the chocolate could start to harden too early if the crockpot is not kept on warmed.
  • The chocolate can set and harden pretty quickly so add the sprinkles immediately after adding the peanut clusters to the parchment paper. This is a great way to get kids involved; the adult scoops and the kid can add the sprinkles right after.
  • Store any leftovers of this easy crock pot candy inside an airtight container either at room temperature (if the room is too warm the chocolate will soften) or inside the fridge for best results.

Easy and yummy! My crockpot is 1.5 quarts, I believe. It almost filled it up to begin. Took 2ish hours to melt. Made 83 clusters of various sizes and shapes. Will be a yearly go-to recipe for Christmas gifts! Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
