Welcome to Day 2 of the 12 DAYOCHRISTMACOOKIE!

If you are going to a cookie exchange party or need a treat for a party, or just want to pass out a killer festive treat to your neighbors, these are it! I posted a teaser of these treats on Instagram the other day —> do you follow Together as Family on Instagram? We’d love to have you 🙂

A crumbly crust of pecans and oats on the bottom, with a ooey gooey chocolatey deliciousness center, and topped with more of the pecan oatmeal crumble. These little treats are so sweet and decadent. I like to cut mine fairly small so they are little popable bites and easy finger food.

Don’t you just love the festive red & green! I think they are so pretty! And we all know pretty food tastes better 🙂

You can find the Christmas m&m’s in the baking aisle or I have also seen them out in the center of the grocery aisles on a Holiday baking display.

I do not cook mine for longer than 25 minutes. I will warn you now that they will still “jiggle” and look underdone, but pull them out anyways (trust me 🙂 ). Once they cool for a couple of hours they will be perfect.

Make clean up super easy and line your baking pan with parchment paper. Once the bars are cooled just lift the bars out by the parchment paper and then cut. I did not even have to wash the pan I used! I love that! No mess treats. That’s what I’m talking about 🙂

In reading over your December 2, Christmas Goody Bars, recipe, I cannot find in the instructions where you put the pecans. Is it at the beginning when you make the crumbly crust or is it in during the second part when you heat the condensed milk mixture?

Hi Denise! Thank you SO MUCH for catching that. It’s at the beginning before you reserve the 1 cup. So sorry for the confusion, I have fixed it in the recipe. Thanks again 🙂
