Another dessert.... trust me, this is not turning into a dessert blog. Eventually I will get back to posting dinnertime family favorites. My husband was gone all last week on a business trip so I was flying solo with our 4 kids, 7 years and younger. I literally almost lost my mind?!
To keep things as real as possible on this blog, I'll admit that we ate out basically every single meal, minus breakfast which was froot loops all week long. I won't even try and pretend that among all the chaos, and it being the first week of summer break , that I actually cooked 3 meals a day for my kids. Nope. Not one bit. I am so glad he's home now and some of my sanity has returned 🙂 When I get stressed you can always find me in the kitchen baking up something sweet. I wish I were like some of my friends and could take that stress out on the treadmill or something amazing like that!
This easy no bake pie has two layers of creamy chocolate inside a chocolate Oreo pie crust. You could also just use a chocolate graham cracker. It's only 5 ingredients! Chocolate pudding mixed with milk and Cool Whip, and white chocolate pudding mixed with milk and Cool Whip. It really is so easy!
Those cute chocolate curls are probably my favorite part. I had seen this on the Food Network several years ago and never got around to trying it because I was so skeptical. I am here to tell you that it works! Take a vegetable peeler and a Hershey chocolate bar and peel down the sides of the chocolate bar. It makes these cute chocolate curls that really make this pie looks so pretty.
There you have it. An easy, no bake, 5 ingredient pie that is so creamy and smooth and a lighter tasting dessert for summer days!
