Menu Plan Monday is a brand-new series on Together as Family that brings you delicious and family-approved dinner ideas for the week. Each menu includes six dinners plus one tasty dessert to enjoy!
Hey friends. Welcome back to another menu plan. I’ve got some good ones for you this week – between a few quick and easy 30 minute dinners (including a one pot wonder) and some easy slow cooker meals – this week is going to be delicious.
I will be spending most of my free time this week at the pool. My daughter has tryouts for a swim club team. It’s been her goal to make this team so she’s wanting to put in some extra practice this week… beyond her 4x per week swim practice on her current swim team. The girl has so much determination! But momma needs a break – I’ve always said that I will finally catch a break when my kids reach their goals and dreams in life 🩷

MONDAY
ONE POT TURKEY CHII MAC AND CHEESE
This is my family’s #1 one pot meal! Ground turkey chili combines with cheesy mac and cheese noodles in this one pan wonder.
TUESDAY
You won’t believe how amazing these rice bowls are! Lean ground chicken simmers in a homemade teriyaki sauce along with veggies. Serve over some cooked rice and top with sliced green onions. So good!
WEDNESDAY
These are my go-to quick weeknight meal. I will let you on a little secret…. the canned chicken makes them so easy and I promise, no one will be able to know the difference. Just try it!
THURSDAY
Serve this ultra tender and flavorful zesty bbq chicken inside hamburger buns. I always cook up some frozen fries to go along with these yummy little sandwiches.
FRIDAY
A hearty chili with veggies, beans, and ground beef. We love this topped with sour cream, shredded cheese, and Fritos scoops chips. You can also serve a side of my Honey Cornbread Muffins.
SATURDAY
Kitchen’s Closed! Go do something fun with the family and/or friends 🥰
SUNDAY
Let the slow cooker do all the work today! Serve with a Caesar salad and a side of Cheesy Garlic Bread.
DESSERT OF THE WEEK
These cookies are one of the most popular cookie recipes on my site – and for good reason – they are giant, thick, chewy, crispy edges, and full of chocolate m&m’s. Make them for an after school snack or a weekend treat. Or make them twice this week…. I won’t tell and I’ve done it myself plenty of times.
