Menu Plan Monday is a new series on Together as Family that brings you delicious and family-approved dinner ideas for the week. Each menu includes six dinners plus one tasty dessert to enjoy!
Welcome to another week of menu plan ideas for your family! I’ll be honest… our weekdays have been so busy after school, that I think I cooked dinner at home once last week. It was not the best week but I am determined to do better this time around. Fingers crossed 😃
Let’s get into this weeks dinner ideas. Again, choose a few of these recipes or do all of them. I always tell people to make your daily dinner plan depending on how busy that day is – if you’ll be gone all day, do a slow cooker dinner. If there is no possible way you can cook then plan on getting take-out that night. Write out the daily plan, schedule a grocery pickup and add all the ingredients to it, and then print out the recipes so they’re ready to go.
MONDAY
This easy ravioli casserole is always a favorite with only a few easy ingredients.
TUESDAY
This is a one pan meal with chunks of chicken that simmer in a sweet orange sauce. I love buying some frozen egg rolls and baking those up in the air fryer. Serve the orange chicken over white rice.
WEDNESDAY
CHICKEN BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE
Cheesy and full of chicken, broccoli, and tender rice. This casserole uses a package of cheesy broccoli Knox rice package for an easy and delicious base.
THURSDAY
Make lasagna the easy way with this instant pot version of the classic Italian dish.
FRIDAY
SLOW COOKER HAWAIIAN TERIYAKI CHICKEN
Serve over some white rice drizzled with some extra teriyaki sauce. I always love making this cold Hawaiian Macaroni Salad as a side dish to this chicken.
SATURDAY
Kitchen’s Closed – Eat leftovers or go out and keep your kitchen mess-free!
SUNDAY
This is a complete meal in one with pork, potatoes, and vegetables. Let the slow cooker do all the work for dinnertime.
DESSERT OF THE WEEK
Easy dessert with canned cherry pie filling + sugar cookie mix for the crumble type topping. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
