The Top 20 Family Favorite Recipes on Together as Family Food Blog

Hello! These end-of-the-year posts are always my very favorite ones to make for y’all. I am not on social media much – I have a very big love hate relationship with all social media – my business needs it but for me as a person, I want nothing to do with it! So I love this post every year because I get to spend a few minutes ‘catching up’ with all my beautiful online readers and maybe give you an inside glimpse into this food blog of mine and behind-the-scenes of my family.

Some of you may have been here since the beginning (April 2015) and for that I am forever grateful to you for. I started this site when my daughter was born and she’s 9 now. I can’t believe I am even saying that. My goal for the new year is to get better at showing you the behind the scenes like my family, daily life, and maybe some cooking videos too. So be sure you’re following me on Facebook and Instagram. I’d love to see you over there 😊 Although I have to admit my days are not too exciting. All my kids are in school which allows me time to work during the day and then once they’re home I am in the car. Whether it’s swim practice, piano lessons, tennis lessons, flag football practice, marching band for my high schooler, activities with friends, hang outs with friends – I am Always. In. The. Car. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s quite literally one of the greatest joys of my life to see my kids thriving, succeeding, and doing something they love with their friends and people they care about. So I will gladly sit in the car anytime.

I started this site with ZERO daily views. For real. I think my mom and sister were my only two views per day for like months. This year alone, Together as Family has had over 16 MILLION visitors to the site. Like that is mind blowing to me and literally brings tears to my eyes. Words can’t express my gratitude for y’all visiting the site, making the recipes, leaving comments, and sharing the recipes with your family & friends and those you care about. Sharing recipes has always just been about love, comfort, family, and home so I LOVE IT when you guys share the recipes. I also am so appreciative that lots of these recipes have become staples at your own family’s dinner table over the years. Nothing makes me happier and I am forever grateful to you all 🫶🏼

This past year there have been a lot of changes on this site. I have been able to post lots more recipes because I have finally hired some photography help. Which has saved my sanity and stress. Taking photos was never my favorite part of having a food blog – I mean, if we’re being honest here, I took all the photos myself (until I hired help), with no experience, and using my iPhone.

So not only are the photos much prettier but I am able to post even more NEW content and recipes for you all. Which brings me to the recipes! I have decided to do the top 10 all-time favorite recipes and then another category of top 10 recipes that were published this year (2023).
